Skin Tag Removal at Home

  • Using Finger Nail Polish: Apply nail polish 2-3 times a day on the skin tag until they fall off gradually. This method needs patience as it needs several days to get them off.
  • Using Baking Soda and Castor oil: Make a fine mixture of baking soda and castor oil until you get a paste like residue. Apply this paste 2-3 times a day on the skin tags until they die and go away.
  • Using Herbal extracts: herbal extracts like Dermisil, which is made of three plants Melaleuca alternifolia, Ricinus Communis and Thuja Occidentalis. This extract is applied on the surface of skin tags to dissolve them. Apply regularly to get the results in your favor. This skin tag removal method is really effective if used properly.
  • Using dental floss, thread or fishing line: tie any one of this very tightly and knot it at the bottom of skin tag that will kill the blood supply to skin tags. Within 2-3 days, the skin tags will become black and fall off.
  • Using Duct tape: just over the skin tag with household duct tape and notice for the loosening of the tape after some time. Remove the duct tape and notice whether skin tag is falling off if yes then it is ok but for negative answer cover it again with another piece of duct tape until the skin tag fails off.
  • Using Vitamin E: Take a band-aid and apply some Vitamin e on it, then just place the band-aid on the skin tag, which has to be removed. If the Band-Aid loosens up then remove it and see for the results, if it not falling off then repeat the procedure until the skin tag falls off.
  • Using freeze off Compound: This is the same method incurred by doctors for freezing and removing the skin tags. This can be carried out in home and is similar to using band-aid, Vitamin e and Duct tapes.
  • Using Scissors, Tweezers or Scalpels: make sure any of the instruments you will be using is well sanitized and germ free and simple remove the skin tag from the skin itself as quickly as possible. If you see any bleeding wash it with peroxide and apply some band-aid to keep it from germ contamination.
